Pricing
Priced by the byte you actually move.
Two metered products — a one-time initial load and continuous change capture — billed per gigabyte on a descending scale. You pay for the real bytes you move, not an inflated representation of them.
Two products. Two shapes of cost.
Wirekite Data is priced like a project. Wirekite Replicate is priced like a pipeline. Both meter the bytes you actually move.
Wirekite Data
Initial load.
$0.50 / GB
First 500 GB each month free.
A one-time charge on the total volume you move. The free floor covers the smallest projects; everything above it is a flat per-gigabyte rate.
Wirekite Replicate
Change capture.
$2.00 → $0.80 / GB
Descending tiers, by monthly volume.
A monthly charge on the change volume you stream. The per-gigabyte rate steps down as your volume grows — the more you move, the less each gigabyte costs.
The rate card.
Billed per gigabyte of real data moved, metered monthly.
Data — initial load
Replicate — change capture, per month
What's metered — and what isn't.
We meter real bytes.
Wirekite bills the actual bytes it moves — the same bytes your database reports. Managed services typically bill a "processed byte" that runs two to five times larger than your real data. At the same headline rate, move 8 TB and you can be billed for 16–40 TB. We don't do that: 8 TB metered is 8 TB.
Your infrastructure is yours.
Wirekite runs in your environment — on-prem, Docker, or your cloud. The compute it runs on and the network it uses are billed by your provider at your rates, never marked up by us. You pay us for moving the data and nothing else.
Two ways the math plays out.
Example 1 — one-time migration
8 TB, Oracle → Snowflake, once.
- → 8,000 GB moved, first 500 free → 7,500 GB × $0.50.
- → $3,750, one time. Validate included.
- → A processed-byte service at the same rate bills 2–5× that — $7,500–$18,750 — for the same move.
Example 2 — migration + ongoing CDC
8 TB load, then 3,000 GB/month of changes.
- → Initial load: $3,750, once.
- → CDC: 2,500 GB × $2.00 + 500 GB × $1.50 = $5,750 / month.
- → The rate keeps dropping as monthly volume grows.
How to get started.
A 30-minute call to size the work. Three questions.
1
Source × target
Which engines you're moving between, how many tables, any unusual types. This sets the engineering shape of the work.
2
Volume + cadence
One-time terabytes (Data) or ongoing monthly change volume (Replicate) — or both. This tells you which tiers you land in.
3
Deployment + timeline
On-prem, Docker, or our managed cloud — and when you need to be live. This sets the rollout plan.
